About the Delete PDF Pages

Scanners produce blank pages. Documents come with cover sheets, fax headers and terms nobody reads. A form arrives with instructions on the first three pages and the part you have to fill in on the fourth. In each case the fix is the same: take those pages out and keep the rest.

Tap the pages you want gone — they highlight — or type their numbers. The count of what will be left updates as you go, so there is no guessing about what you are about to produce.

The remaining pages are copied into a new document rather than redrawn, so text stays selectable, images are untouched, and the file gets smaller only because it holds less. Your original file is not modified.

This is the mirror image of extracting pages, and which one you reach for depends only on whether it is easier to describe what you want or what you do not. Removing four pages from a sixty-page report is far quicker than selecting fifty-six.

One thing the tool will not let you do is remove every page: a PDF has to contain at least one. And as everywhere else on this site, the document is opened and rebuilt in your browser rather than on a server.

How to use the Delete PDF Pages

  1. Add your PDF

Drop it in. Every page is drawn as a thumbnail so blank ones are easy to spot.

  2. Choose the pages to remove

Tap them, or type numbers and ranges like 1-3, 7, 12- if there are a lot.

  3. Check what is left

The tool says how many pages the new document will have before you commit to anything.

  4. Remove and download

The trimmed PDF saves to your downloads. The file you added is unchanged.

Frequently asked questions

Can I get the pages back afterwards?
Your original file is never modified, so yes — the pages are still in it. The download is a new document; nothing is deleted from the file you added.
How do I find the blank pages?
The thumbnails show every page, and blank ones are obvious at a glance. Tap them to mark them for removal; the numbers fill into the field automatically so you can check the list before committing.
Should I delete pages or extract pages?
Whichever is fewer to describe. Removing four pages from a sixty-page report is much quicker than selecting the other fifty-six — and the other way round when you only want a couple of pages.
Does it change the quality of the remaining pages?
No. They are copied whole, so text stays selectable and images keep their exact quality. The file gets smaller only because there is less in it.
Is my document uploaded?
No. It is opened and rebuilt in your browser, so nothing is transmitted.
