Using the tools

TinySolve is free to use, for personal and for commercial work. You do not need an account and you do not need our permission. There is no limit on how many times you may use a tool, other than what your own device can handle.

Your files stay yours

We claim no ownership of, and no licence over, anything you process here. For tools that run in your browser this is not really a legal question at all: the file never reaches us, so there is nothing for us to have rights over. Whatever you produce with these tools is yours to use however you like.

What you agree not to do

• Use the site to process material you have no right to process, or for anything unlawful.
• Attempt to break, overload or interfere with the site or the people using it.
• Republish the site as your own, or scrape it wholesale to recreate it elsewhere.

No warranty

The tools are provided as they are. We test them and we care about getting the numbers right, but we cannot promise that every tool is correct for every input, that the site is always available, or that a result is fit for a particular purpose.

Keep your original files. Anything that changes a file — compressing, converting, cropping, trimming — should be done on a copy. A tool can produce a result you did not expect, and we cannot recover an original you have overwritten.

Calculators are estimates

The financial, tax and health calculators use published formulas and show their working, but they are planning aids, not professional advice. Rates and rules change, and your situation may include factors a general calculator cannot know about. Check anything that matters with a qualified adviser before acting on it.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss or damage arising from using this site — including lost files, lost work, or a decision made on the basis of a result. This does not affect rights that cannot be excluded by law.

Third-party platforms

Some tools work with content from other platforms, such as a publicly available video thumbnail. Those platforms have their own terms, and they continue to apply. We do not provide anything that circumvents a technical protection or a platform’s rules, and you are responsible for having the right to use what you download.

These terms may change as the site grows. The date at the top shows when they last did. Questions are welcome via the contact page.
